TATTOO

Hector Rodriguez Goderich trained as an engraver and draftsman at the Art Academy of Santiago de Cuba — a foundation most tattoo artists simply don't have. That academic rigor is what separates his realism from everyone else's.

Since 2007, skin has been his only canvas. Over 17 years working exclusively in realism, he developed a process that treats every commission like a fine-art piece: studied, deliberate, and built to last.

Now based in Miami, he works by appointment only — taking on the projects that demand the highest level of precision, and turning them down when they don't.

  1. Submit a booking request with a detailed description of your idea, placement, approximate size, and any reference images. Once reviewed, you’ll be contacted regarding availability, pricing, and next steps.

  2. Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure any appointment date. The deposit goes toward the final session balance unless stated otherwise.

  3. Large-scale and highly detailed projects are typically booked as full-day sessions. Current full-day rate is $1,200 — sessions generally run 6–7 hours depending on the project and client tolerance.

  4. Estimates are professional approximations based on the information available before starting. Every tattoo progresses differently — skin type, placement, level of detail, healing, contrast, and overall flow all influence the final count. The priority is always the best possible result, not rushing the process.

  5. For most custom projects, the design is presented on the day of the appointment. This allows it to be finalized for placement, body flow, proportions, and readability. Minor adjustments can be made before tattooing if necessary. For larger or more complex projects, a separate consultation may be scheduled at the artist’s discretion.

  6. No. Large-scale projects are structured by session rather than hourly pricing.

  7. Please discuss this before your appointment. Certain numbing products can affect skin texture and the tattooing process depending on the area and session duration.

  8. Get proper rest, eat a good meal beforehand, stay hydrated, avoid alcohol the day before and day of, and wear comfortable clothing that gives access to the tattoo area. For longer sessions, snacks, drinks, and headphones are recommended.

  9. Cash, Zelle, card, or payment link depending on the appointment setup. Payment is due at the end of each session.

  10. Yes. Please provide at least 48 hours notice for any rescheduling request. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in the loss of the deposit.

  11. In many cases, yes — but every project is evaluated individually depending on the skin’s condition and existing tattoo coverage. Please include clear photos when submitting your request.

  12. Appointments are currently handled at a private studio location. The exact address and arrival instructions are provided after confirmation.

  13. Touch-ups are handled on a case-by-case basis depending on the tattoo, healing process, and timeframe. Proper aftercare is critical for the final healed result.

  14. High-detail realism and custom large-scale work in both black & grey and color. Projects are designed with long-term readability, contrast, and overall composition in mind.
